Prehistory Repeats Itself

Paleoart of Longisquama, a drepanosaur that we only have the front half of. It had large ribbonlike structures protruding out of the back. Some people think these were predecessors to bird feathers. These people are probably wrong. Longisquama is a weird animal, but the recent discovery of Mirasaura gives us an idea of its relations and taxonomy.
